Well, why not? We're a two-person crew of writers, researchers, editors, online publishers, mortgage and investment counselors. Not bad for just two people, hmmm? These are our ramblings and we hope you find them relatively more exciting than our work. No, we're kidding, we LOVE the work! (But we do miss the steady paychecks *wistful sighs* ) Anyway, enjoy and look us up sometime at http://www.scribesunlimited.com

Message from a war veteran...

I served over 13 years including 3 tours in the Middle East and I can honestly tell you that Donald Rumsfeld is THE MOST INCOMPETENT Secretary of Defense this country has EVER been disgraced with.

He should be fired and prosecuted.

Please allow me to explain.

There are SO MANY areas and issues that this old warmongering curmudgeon has been wrong on... .and it's continuing to cost us in American lives and several billion dollars.

From his insistance to invade Iraq, as a member of PNAC (Project for the New American Century) as far back as 1995, to his stroke of brilliance in believing that only 50,000 troops would be required to invade Iraq (yes, Rumsfeld insisted we could do it with 50,000 troops, his experienced Generals said 400,000 were going to be needed but they settled on 150,000).

THIS MAN IS INCOMPETENT.

He actually believed we would be welcomed as "liberators" with roses and candy and that the war in Iraq would last "3 months...6 months tops".

In Army basic training, strategy training taught me that when the U.S. Army invades another country, the FIRST thing it does is secure all enemy military installations, including ammo dumps. This is done to deny your enemy the means to continue killing you. What did Rumsfeld direct our troops to do FIRST?

SECURE THE OIL FIELDS.

That UNBELIEVABLE military strategic blunder, in of itself, tells you why we invaded Iraq, but that's another argument.

This allowed the insurgents to loot Hussein's former military bases and ammo dumps, left completely unguarded for months, to the tune of over 280,000 tons of military grade high explosives. That's enough for 150 IED attacks per day for the next 250 years.

THIS WAS CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE.

Every 19-year-old American kid killed in Iraq by an IED is DIRECTLY attributable to Donald Rumsfeld's INCOMPETENCE.

FIRE THIS BASTARD NOW AND PROSECUTE HIM!

(We couldn't agree more...)
